Josephine (Docma)’s review published on Letterboxd:
A classic Holywood romance in the middle of one of the most empathetic depictions of mental illness ever committed to film. This movie is from the perspective of Barry, but there are glances of Lena that elevates her as the heart of PTA's masterwork, a woman looking for the same affection and love that has being denied to both individuals. In the end, it’s her who makes the final choice that cements their relationship and the camera breaks Barry's POV to make you feel what she feels in the moment.
Consumerism in the background, a couple in the shadows, coming out to the light.
So, here we go.
