Wasn't it great when the little boy finally got his tank? I love happy endings :) seriously tho, I definitely get the criticisms for this film and I definitely get how using the Holocaust as the setting for a sentimental melodrama might be seen as a little.. problematic? Even though the film did sometimes get to be a little bit too hokey for its own good, I was constantly alternating between grinning ear-to-ear one minute and then struggling to hold back tears the next.. this might be an overly humorous and sentimental take on one of recent history's worst atrocities but damn if it didn't make me feel feelings.. it won me over, guys. I think.. I might love this film?
