fuck you guys, i loved this! despite eagerly anticipating this film since the first casting announcement way back when, it took me a while to get round to actually sitting down and watching it. i can safely say that it was so worth it when i finally did. the cinematography and soundtrack are great in a nonchalant way, and it goes without saying that the large ensemble cast are a highlight. i loved the way all the separate stories slowly came together and tom holland's performance felt so understated yet nuanced which was perfect for this telling. the last sentiment we're left with is so interesting and this film is definitely going to stick in my mind for that and all the other reasons it works so well. a guaranteed highlight of 2020.
