Bill Skarsgard & Harry Melling > everyone else trying southern accents
The pacing and acting made me feel like I was watching a movie most of the time, I couldn't be fully into it. It was hard to see the characters with a cast like this and I'm not sure if that's because of the A-listers stuck into what feels like an indie flick or just poor casting. There are some good scenes but it's way too long and only interesting in the beginning and end.
Also one of my least favorite titles for a movie in a while. Netflix knows they're known for producing stinkers so they tried. They got close but no cigar.
EDIT: I'm not sure I was in the right mindset/mood for this movie tbh. Reflecting on it I feel like I have more positive things to say, I think the middle was just a bit of a slog and took me out of it. I'll give it another go someday.
