    Bethany

    ★★★ Watched by Bethany 17 Apr 2022

the performances are great and it's pretty well made production-wise but this series leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. how are you going to make this all about consent when you didn't even ask for Pam's to tell her story about something that really hurt her and ruined a lot of opportunities for her? truly one of the most hypocritical pieces of media I have ever come across.

really looking forward to Pam's documentary!

    "You all know the rules!"

"All bubble-blowing babies will be beaten senseless by every able-bodied patron in the bar."

Still one of the funniest and most consistent TV-to-Theatrical animated movies ever. The climactic fight scene on David Hasselhoff's hairy body is just brilliant.

I don't really have words in my vocabulary to describe how much I fell in love with this film when watching it for the first time with my mum in February. the entire cast is perfect but oh my god... Marilyn. there truly was absolutely no one like her and no one will ever come close to being like her. she is the definition of one of a kind, one in a million. every time she is in a scene…

    ★★★★★ Rewatched by sakana1 24 Oct 2021 15

I Married a Witch is 74 minutes of perfection, the most delicious, flawlessly crafted Hollywood trifle of them all. Starring two people who couldn't stand one another, it's a lesson in willful chemistry, in directorial sleight of hand, and in simple brilliance from everyone concerned. It's also a movie that's always been very important to me, for reasons I've never really been able to pinpoint. I think, though, that it has to do with Jennifer. With Jennifer, and with Veronica…
