Really cool. My biggest props go to the phenomenal soundtrack and acting from Morfydd Clark. Insanely demented! I could watch that woman play a delusional, manic Bible-thumper until the end of time.
I think that as a complete story, the pacing is quite solid, however I really would have been completely satiated by several minutes more from each act.
Demanding more from a movie is tough to have be a genuine critique, but I do feel like this movie was properly ambitious and could’ve let loose a bit more.
I think my expectations may have been set too high as Sam and I have been trying to watch this movie for like, a fucking year now, but that’s what happens. I’m excited to give this a second go soon to solidify my opinion.
