Godard would never be as flightless again. Drunk on cinema, Godard's cup of love for american genre film fills a thousand times over. Although Godard found the supposed "narrative" through-line too restrictive for his later films, his use of jump cuts here seems to be an antithesis to that. He cuts to the best part of a shot so he can express his ideas in the most potent way possible, breaking into feature film making in the tightest 90 minutes ever

PS: (Jean Seberg is amazing.)
