Oh boy Paul Thomas Anderson might shoot me if he found out THIS is what I watched immediately after There Will Be Blood.
Will be absolutely thrilled for this to open, with the state of the world right now, and also a desire to return to the comforts of the chilled-widely populated cinema, especially on summer blockbuster nights, Coppola is one of the top directors who could pull off this Hail Mary at the end of his career, with more of his recent works being lesser known but this is a chance for cinema to shine a gain. When this comes out it will be like a huge breath of fresh air, a movie about New York City made by a man who loves it.
Woah woah woah? What?!
Tarantino slid this into OUATIH, and naturally I couldn’t avoid it. Wrecking Crew is such a delightful caper that’s like James Bond on weed. It’s goofy, very strange, but so refreshing in its suave cheese. Dean Martin is great, even tho you can’t take it seriously.
I never would’ve seen a film like this in a million years. So glad I watched it
Music is so good by today’s standards. Party and driving music from the 60s >> anything today
