• Portrait of a Lady on Fire

Portrait of a Lady on Fire

My girlfriend liked it and she actually didn’t even predict it right this time! That’s a win win for me!

  • Ferris Bueller's Day Off

    Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Preparing to play as Bueller for an 80s murder mystery party tomorrow so I of course had to watch this again. Really love this movie even more after a second watch and It’ll always be a classic to me!

  • Everything Everywhere All at Once

    Everything Everywhere All at Once

Now this is what I call a new, fun and creative film. Everything Everywhere All at Once seriously blew all of my expectations and then some.

Hard really to put to words what I felt about this, but also I don’t know many adjectives. But let me just say that I think this is one of those films that everyone must watch before they die.

Also, I say a lot of times that I plan to watch certain films multiple times…

  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2

  • CODA

CODA won Best Picture this year!

Actually happy to have seen it won as it was also my prediction for what was going to win like many others had thought as well.

But for me, CODA honestly was not anything too special to me. Definitely did like the different view of a family as 3/4 of them are deaf which I think representation of deaf people is not show enough in films so kudos to them for that. But besides…

  • The Power of the Dog

    The Power of the Dog

The Power of the Dog has such well-thought out writing. Really blew my expectations for what I was getting into.

Can definitely see why it has so many Oscar nominations this year. The performances were great, the costume and designs were great, the score was great. Everything about this had gone the right way in my mind!

Definitely a SLOW BURN but I think it pays off in the end.

Will it win Best Picture? I can definitely see that happening. Only time will tell. In the meantime, go watch it if you haven’t already.

  • Jujutsu Kaisen 0

    Jujutsu Kaisen 0

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel that takes place before Season 1 of the anime. Boy was it amazing to finally see Yuta and Rika. Inumaki was definitely my favorite in the anime so it was really great to see him get more screen time. Him and Yuta are best friends and I love them. This only makes me more excited to see the Shibuya Arc.

Please MAPPA announce the next season!

  • Turning Red

    Turning Red

Watched this for an upcoming presentation I’m doing but also thought I should actually see it before talking about it so here I am!

Turning Red was great and i loved it a lot! Really refreshing to see a story based around teenage adolescence and all that comes with it while also having fantastic art style and animation!

Pixar never fails in my opinion on making unique, one of a kind stories that I can always see myself coming back to no matter what age I am!

    Go watch it today!

  • The Batman

    The Batman

I’m a simp for emo Bruce Wayne.

  • Zoolander

Funny but some stuff did not age well at all, if you know you know.

  • The Batman

    The Batman

Honestly believed it lived up to the hype.

The Batman was everything that I wanted in a Batman movie. Dark, noir, thriller/mystery and grungy film. Batman was always called “The World’s Greatest Detective” so why not make a murder mystery for once and have him try to solve the case. That’s exactly what we got here!

Robert Pattinson, Rob, Robbie, you absolutely crushed it and made a big statement with this one! Definitely portrayed Batman in a new light and…

  • 10 Things I Hate About You

10 Things I Hate About You

Thought this would turn into a Joker origin story but was met with Heath Ledger having an Australian accent and going to a West Coast school. I like it.
