Feels indebted to Romero and Serling, which means that even if I think the script can be a hair dopey, the acting a bit rough and the tone a bit spotty... I love the unrelenting B-movie bad vibes this traffics in so damn much that I can't really bring myself to knock it all that much- the elements here are basically perfection. Looks great in B&W, save for some janky handheld shots, which likely would have looked out-of-place in color, so take that with a grain of salt. I expect this rating to improve with time.
