  Incredibly stupid and as on the nose as everyone has pointed out, but also deeply (intentionally?) silly towards the end with Rory Kinnear having a blast and Garland playing with human transformation in more disgusting ways than he did in Annihilation.

  They don’t make em like this anymore, and what I mean by that is, dabney Coleman is the hottest man alive and they don’t make movies with a 49 year old dabney Coleman with a perfect mustache anymore

  Jai and Lily forever. Holy shit. They have next level chemistry in this smart romantic thriller taking place in a disarmingly blasé and casual Nazi home. Jai gives the best performance I've ever seen from him, and Lily James, who's been great in everything I've seen her in, gives a profoundly resilient performance as someone not entirely easy to gauge, yet nonetheless immediately empathetic.
