To be honest, once I found out the Patriarchy wasn't about horses I lost interest. - Ken

This was so much fun. My theater audience was having a blast. Had a really great time watching this with my sister Amanda. Taking a rest then off to see Oppenheimer.

Top 5 movie of this Century and most likely in my top 25 All-time. Somewhere in the Multiverse there's a Jarrod that doesn't have rules about rating a movie 5* on the first watch and I'm channeling him now. The ideas presented in this movie are soul searching. The creativity in the writing is off the charts and literally out of this world. The action sequences are far surpassing anything you'd expect in a movie about existential dread vs humanity.…

Perfect light movie to go out on. Taking a minimum 30 day sabbatical from all social media. Shutting down or uninstalling all my accounts and apps across the board. Maybe if it goes well I'll make it permanent, but I'll at least come back to Letterboxd because I love movies too much. See you on the other side.

" Helping random children, to boost your fragile self-esteem, is not in our job description! "

So much more here than just overcoming your fears. Charlie Kaufman does a great job with this script and the animation looks awesome. I think this will be more appreciated with time.

    Side Note:
'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' is playing at the Plaza Theater in Atlanta on 2/13 and 2/14.

There's no basement at the Alamo!

Some things they just don't teach you in school. This film came out when I was 8 years old. Rewatched tonight. Call me sentimental but it still holds up. Great visuals from Tim Burton's debut, amazing score from Danny Elfman and an iconic performance from Paul Reubens R.I.P. Be sure and tell them Large Marge sent you Pee-Wee, you Fucking Legend. First time I ever cried watching this.

I don't have to see it Dottie, I lived it.

There is way to much to digest to rate or even rank this properly from one viewing. I'm not as high on this as most. I really liked 'Oppenheimer' but it's not in my Top 5 Nolan. Wish I had gotten to see it in IMAX. Looks like RDJ will finally get his Oscar.
