Ok hear me out. It’s a reboot/sequel. The standards are EXTREMELY low. And this is not a terrible movie. Plus they have a lot of dad jokes and maybe it’s because I’m expecting a child? Don’t judge me.
You know, I was trying to find something funny to say about this movie: after all, my reviews are usually like that, snarky little comments on stuff.
But I just can't.
It's too much.
Watch this movie and think about it. Think about life, about hard choices, about regret and being alone and unfairness.
Sometimes, there's nothing to joke about. You just enjoy what you've experienced and reflect on it.
This is one of those times.
