Escaping the heat
A hazy melodrama ripe with gore and greed. The warm sun penetrating the lakeside facade before collapsing under the weight of cruelty and staining the blue water a dark crimson.
A cavalcade of trauma, gashing wounds and auburn skies. It should be a crime it's taken me until the age of 26 to finally sit down and watch this. Deeply influential. This is the route all slashers would take for better and for worse.
If this movie came out 8-9 years ago, I mean, it'd still just be okay, but at least the visual and musical choices would make more sense within the context of the right year.
Either way, it's a Seth Green movie. The man is in his mid 40's making movies that resonate with Chainsmoker fans with him and his friends drunkinly running down foreign streets. That's a potential Chainsmoker lyric right there!!
