How the hell did this stupid Goosebumps bullshit slip completely under my radar till now.
Enjoyed it more than the first. The scenes with Cillian Murphy and the girl were great. The bank vault baby subplot is completely disposable, could have spent the whole movie with them. But Krasinski's character is idolized so intensely even after his death, he comes off as a real narcissist.

I can’t stop thinking about this. Braid is a psychedelic horror film about three young women and their bonds to each other, set in a baroque mansion in Yonkers. It’s written and directed by a woman, and it’s an unbeatable point in the argument that having more female and diverse voices in horror cinema would result in wild stories that use genre in innovative ways. PLEASE. I’m so BORED and I NEED MORE OF BRAID.

Cruel and pointless. Just how I want it. I want it so bad. Feels like it’s been a bit since the last bleak and bloody mainstream horror release that wants to fuck you up but has some artistry to it. So I’m very excited by this. I love the shot composition. The performances really sell the horror, because I like and believe these regular people. And then... it’s so, so mean.
