Loved this. A rape-revenge film in which no rape is depicted, but the effects on the lives of the people involved are depicted in a unique way, and the revenge... well, I won't say anything. But I loved the ending, which I am sure will be very divisive.
I don't like rape-revenge flicks, even most of those that people love to toss around as "feminist". They are always so explicit with sexual violence and then filmmakers loooove showing suffering women, always suffering in the same way. Yet when the topic is approached differently, humanly, avoiding gratuitousness and grief/rage-porn, I tend to love those movies. It's interesting.
