Daniel Ventresca’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Nice Guys might just be my favourite movie of the year (thus far). Shane Black directs this hilarious buddy cop movie set in the 70s, revolving around two private eyes, a missing girl, and porn. Starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, the two work extremely well together, bringing a ton of chemistry on screen. Hilarity ensues as the two butt heads, and it's exactly what gives the film it's charm. The story really kept me interested the whole way through, and I had a blast following the clues to the conspiracy this movie revolved around.
