The way this film is all about observation, touch and memory just fucking hits. If you were like me, when the sexual tension was up on the fucking roof, I almost punched my screen.
Sciamma told the story so patiently, there is no single scene, frame or shot wasted in this film. She only showed us one of the female lead 20 minutes in, she took her time with this. Every glance and stare meant something, even the dialogue had certain pauses in them, it just adds to the slow burn even more.
The two leads were spectacular, the emotion they can convey in a single glance, wow.
I still can't conjure up thoughts, I'll watch it again this week.
