  • Bombshell

    Bombshell

    ★★½

I can’t help but think this is one of the things that’s gonna lead Hollywood to make a film about Weinstein, and hopefully, that one will be better than this.

I don't know much about American politics to really dive in, and umm there’s really not much to say other than it really lacks that powerful punch they needed to deliver the story, I mean on paper its powerful, but a different concept might have worked better for a story…

  • Gone Girl

    Gone Girl

    ★★★★★

Scorsese discovered de aging tech, Greta Gerwig used the ol trick bangs, Fincher used his iconic yellow filter

  • Support the Girls

    Support the Girls

    ★★★★½

oh my god, this is soo gooood! its quite basic, but it is done very well, I felt everything they wanted me to feel and more. That last scene made me feel a lot of emotion, and the script is great as well.

Main takeaway is definitely women. They are strong, kind, capable, funny, talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before!!!

Haley lu is the stand out, partially because…

  • Palo Alto

    Palo Alto

    ★★★½

some moments feel like the filmmaker is trying too hard to channel deep shit lol, cmon.. cigarettes?? Anyway, I would like it much more if the film just focused solely on Emma Roberts character, couldn't careless about those assholes.

Also that Chris Messina cameo mmmhmmmm.... would love to see more of that!

  • Cats

    Cats

This is so fucking gross, its not even entertaining for me, its boring, dull, and a nightmare.

Who the fuck is responsible for giving this man $100 million??? The audacity... people are out there starving and this white man just wasted a bunch of money on nothing. Doesn't even deserve half a star.

  • We Need to Talk About Kevin

We Need to Talk About Kevin

    ★★★★

first of all this film is disturbing in all places, casting John c Reilley is just really funny to me.

I really don't know if I dislike Ezra miller because of his character, or his performance in general or he is so good that it made me dislike him even more.

I don't know... this is just really terrifying to me, I'm genuinely scared. I don't want kids, never like em, don't want em! fuck Kevin! should've call the cops after the signs! put him in psych ward! not giving him bow and arrow as a fucking Christmas present!! bye!

  • Paddington 2

    Paddington 2

    ★★★★

I want go to London and squeeze paddington clumsy little cute ass myself!

when the storyline was getting a bit ridiculous I was like this is unrealistic, but then I remind myself I was watching a bear talking, so all is good again.

A great example of turning such a simple story into something unique. Need more films like this!

  • First Reformed

    First Reformed

    ★★★½

Definitely too ahead of its time for me, may have to rewatch in the future. The writing was really great and it was beautifully shot as well.

But I found this a bit inaccessible, despite the theme of the film. It did not connect with me as much as I thought it would.

  • Madeline's Madeline

    Madeline's Madeline

    ★★★

was waiting for the ending to hit, but nothing happened.

anyway... um, yeah I don't know.

when they mistake your mental illness for your acting talent tho <3

  • Citizenfour

    Citizenfour

    ★★★★½

well holy shit, idk idc I got into this 5 years late. All the people that involved in this documentary got some balls... literally risking their fucking lives.

When Snowden said that her girlfriend is still alive and they hadn't captured her yet, I got some serious chills, I just suddenly realised what I was watching.

Just waved to my webcam, incase they're watching me typing this shit you know. Hi!

  • Vice

    Vice

    ★★½

If the goal here is to make this movie into a big fat joke, then they succeeded

I don’t know anything about American politics but all of it was quite disgusting. Bale as cheney was good. What a waste casting Amy for this, she doesn’t even had an oscar clip but coattail her way to a nomination anyway 😩

Surprisingly more accessible than the big short, that I can’t even get to 15 minutes.

This film is like if I try to make a slide show explaining my ideas, but can’t put it together in one coherent presentation.

  • Billy Elliot

    Billy Elliot

    ★★★½

A very very good performance by a young Jamie bell, I'm very impressed.

was originally gonna give this a 3 star but than ending earned its half star from me.
