Dylan Hastie’s review published on Letterboxd:
“everything we feel, we have to put into words. Sometimes, I just want to feel things.”
nonstop thoughts about this film, just pure kinetic energy in each scene. from the slow-motion shot of inhaling smoke to the whip pans whilst air drumming. everything is so well thought out and precise, yet everything feels natural.
the way all the intimate scenes pan out and lead to the most important memories of julie’s life is just another way of saying keep going and find where you fit in your life.
