    Somehow it felt faster than the first time I watched it. I still think the last third could be cut in half though. 

    I feel like there is no tension in it. Everything up through the trinity test works so well b/c everyone is after the same thing: the creation of the atomic bomb.     Funny and heartfelt.

    What I enjoyed:
    Ryan Gosling is the best part of this film! He was hilarious and stole every scene he was in. It was written really well, and it strikes a good balance of satire and heart. The script if sharp. The exploration of humanity’s relationship with toys was interesting. Barbieland was a feast of color and dancing, and I’d like to take my next holiday there.

    For a film that happens in so many different dimensions, it's surprisingly grounded in real, tangible characters. An honest film with great animation that is well worth your time. The older cynical Peter Parker was incredibly relatable, and the tension between Miles and his father was too real. Yet, it's a great family film that everyone can enjoy! Even though Marvel has had a great year, this one still feels the most refreshing of the bunch.
