  I had a superior attitude towards this movie because despite never seeing it I felt like I'd heard every quote from it and didn't need to watch it but hey turns out I was wrong and it is pretty fantastic? Either that or I was in the exact right existential place to cry for the whole last 20 minutes and somehow not find it emotionally manipulative. Extra points to Regina King's emotional range, tiny Lipnicki's smile, Cuba Gooding Jr.'s laugh, the masterful pacing that made a very long movie feel compact, and Tom Cruise's thighs.
