Charlie Mullins’s review published on Letterboxd:
Bored me to tears. Much like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Beginning, this is a prequel story that never needed to be told, trying to be a set up that erodes the horror of the story it’s for. At least that movie had R. Lee Ermy, I cant think of a single positive quality for this one. Even Texas Chainsaw Massacre III and The Next Generation are preferable to this.
Totally feels like a bottom-of-the-barrel film from start to finish, and then you watch the end credits and realize it’s because the people in charge of this American movie decided to shovel it off and have almost every person involved with this production be somebody from Bulgaria. One wonders if anyone even knew what they were doing when they made this.
