    Really confused by my feelings about this.

    On the one hand despite me never being interested in the subject matter before, I did find it interesting - and thrilling!

    Only just realised this is his Kore-Eda’s first film and whaaaatttt?!? This had the emotional breadth and depth of a 94 year old poet.

    I enjoyed the stuff at the farmhouse. The dinner was exquisitely uncomfortable. 

    I don’t think I’d like Charlie Kaufman if I ever met him. This felt like he was sat in a tall chair looking down at me, smoking a cigarette and writing a snarky beat poem about Hollywood and movies from the past couple of decades. The Robert Zemeckis dig was so jarring and unnecessary. 
    But maybe it wasn’t about this? Maybe it wasn’t about this at all? I have absolutely no idea what this is.
