A solid but unremarkable actioner with good chemistry between Denzel and Wahlberg. The plot begins in a promising fashion but becomes convoluted by the third act leading to an entertaining but pretty silly finale.
I have to mention though that this movie features one of, if not the best Bill Paxton performance of all time. He's actually brilliant!

I've taken a day and a half to collect my thoughts about this and I'm ready to talk about it now! When I heard this was going to be the longest Bond film ever, I was even more excited than I had been before but slightly apprehensive. Didn't like this half as much as I expected. Turns out telepathic mind control battles don't translate terribly well to film, especially not in the early 80s. There are a handful of exciting sequences and some cool effects but the rest of the runtime consists of people staring at each other looking as though they're constipated or on speed. It's not very well acted either bar Michael Ironside and Patrick McGoohan. Still worth watching if you're a fan of this type of B movie but otherwise, give it a miss.

An old lesson told in a way that you will actually listen to it. If we focus on the parts of each other that point the same direction, we will reach beyond what we can comprehend.

    So much stillness
