Penis Paolo Pasolini’s review published on Letterboxd:
Humane in the most touching way. Found myself having to call mum afterwards. It's no wonder that people have such strong, personal reactions to this film; Greta Gerwig hones in on the difficult, sometimes crushing parts about growing up, as well as the beauty and excitement. The film never underestimates or talks down to its audience. There is no antagonist in this film, except the disappointments of every-day life, because every character is given a voice. All characters are allowed to express their intricacies.
