    Werewolf by Night

i love ted but he does remind me of garnier fabulous octopus beard davey jones from pirates of the caribbean

  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

    She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

i was all set to give this 3.5 stars before the finale and then. oh my god, went off the rails entirely. i already wasn’t loving the meta bits, but was willing to look past that because i was vibing with the rest. k.e.v.i.n. what were you thinking. the first 8 eps are a blast! love me some matt murdock so im always happy when he pops up. loved my girl madisynn and my dearly beloved wongers as well. all the new characters are fun, really. just wish we’d wrapped up in a way that was even a little bit satisfying or logical.

  • Infinity Pool

    Infinity Pool

got vertigo like two minutes in (when the camera started barrel rolling all over the fucking place for like three full minutes of establishing shots) and then had to deal with watching this crazy-ass movie with a migraine. enjoyed it, though! or maybe enjoyed is the wrong word…but, rather, appreciated its quality. mia goth i fear you and i love you so much

    Thor: Love and Thunder

this may be taika’s weakest work, but i like hemmy and tessa thompson enough to still be amused by it.

  • Maybe I Do

    Maybe I Do

adapted from a stage play, and probably should’ve stayed a stage play. these people were having SO many very private convos in front of people who really should not be listening!!! diane keaton was in her element (being cute and wearing an enormous belt in every scene)! susan was the standout, obviously. william h macy was too earnest and supremely annoying. i was endeared to richard gere even though i probably shouldn’t have been. emma roberts & luke bracey do a nice job…

death by sheet music would be a pretty bad way to go, but damn does it make for a cool battle scene

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

i was very worried i wasn’t going to like it after seeing the mess that was the first one earlier this week. but holy frijoles this shit rocked

  • Moon Knight

    Moon Knight

still my least favorite “oscar isaac filmed this in the wadi rum desert” material (see also: star wars, dune) but i understood it more this time. last time, i said it should’ve been a movie instead of a series, which i stand by. they made this a lot more complex than needed. confining themselves to 2.5 hours would’ve helped with pacing/not including so many unnecessary details. it’s still cool to look at and everyone acted their pretty little faces off. but…

  • Cinderella

stumbles its way to something kind of sweet and original after a nearly unbearable first hour. to get to the point where it gets better, though, you do have to power through quite a lot of scream-singing from camila cabello, which, i’ll be honest, may not be worth it. anyway, i liked the town crier and the queen!

  • Spider-Man: No Way Home

    Spider-Man: No Way Home

doctor strange continually yelling at peter that this is all his fault … like sir it’s your fault actually? maybe ask a couple questions before you launch straight into doing a spell that alters the fabric of reality bitch damn

  • Hawkeye

dammit i’ve accidentally gotten endeared to clint barton. shit.
