“Some people were born just so they could be buried”
Netflix has been doing a great job with their movies for quite some time now and this was no exception.
The movie was maybe a bit long and it followed many different stories, so it might have worked better as a miniseries but I was still pleased with the result.
The story is a dark and often sad story about a couple of residents in a village. We see how many of them are corrupted by their unhealthy practices of their religion and how it hurts and even kills both good and bad people.
The cast is great and even though the accents sounds a bit funny at times I still think that everyone fitted their roles well. I was especially surprised by Tom Holland, since I haven’t seen him in anything other than the Marvel movies.
The movie has a lot of narration, which is something I really like. The movie also has many different stories and not all of them ties together until the end, which I also liked since I think it gives a good pacing.
