So I listen to a film podcast called Films to be buried with. It’s really good, you should check it out.
On this film podcast the host, who may I say is a sexy little fucker and has consistently brought up good films and I have a lot of time for said that this film was scary af and not to read anything about it because it will spoil it. I thought to myself fucking helllll this must be the most offit shit ever. And you know when someone says don’t do something it just makes you want to do it even more, well I had that with this but resisted and saved myself for it. So I spent a good year sourcing it and then Amazon just made it available to rent so my quest was over.
I sit down with my girlfriend who is a lover of offit scary films and we were proper excited. Turns out this film is fucking shit and the whole don't read about it was a waste of self strength because for me it’s got a super normal storyline that has been told 100 times already in films. Not scary or offit or engaging in the slightest. Just a poorly made film in all senses.
