Didn’t entirely work for me but is at least ambitious and wild in a way that I can respect - I’d much rather not enjoy watching something like this than the 500th instalment in some tired franchise.

Certainly manages to be unpredictable and purposefully unsettling, but despite finding many of the ideas pretty interesting I failed to connect with this. I need to accept that Kaufman’s direction just doesn’t work for me - in theory the idiosyncrasies of the structure and plot should be right up my alley, but instead I found myself either annoyed or bored by them.
