As a first time viewer of anything James Bond, this exceeded my expectations greatly. Mads Mikkelsen is a super imposing villain who has so many great scenes like the poker ones, and I really felt his presence to be something I should fear, but it contrasted nicely with the interrogation scene as it showed him as both barbaric but also weak when the people he owns money to arrive.
