probably the most i've liked eugenio derbez in anything ever

i have a very limited amount of time to watch movies out of my own volition (because of my poor time management skills lol) and this is what i chose to watch. it was too okay to be bad-bad, too corny to be good-bad and too jennifer lopez produced to be good-good

the only way to watch this is with two friends eating pizza and playing wordle

a solid deconstruction of masculinity through generations in a very dark comedy that knows more than it leads on, with an endearingly but realistically messy, unconventional family dynamic at it's core.

yeah it's just la famille bélier but it has
1. actually deaf actors playing deaf characters
2. a hot brother AND a milf
3. cosmo from sing street
4. a heart
it's good!! i cried several times!!
