“Life on the Farm: An a24 Story” 🐑
On a quick note, I never thought I’d see how sheep give birth, let alone in a movie, but that’s burned into my brain now.
So, Let’s Unpack Here…
- The first thing I said to my friend, when the movie was over was, “What the hell was that? I kinda liked it.”
That’s a24 for ya 😁, also the only reason why I wanted to see it.
- Very early on, it lost me, then as it progressed, I was invested into it. Mostly it’s because it comes off as such a weird movie, but the story & plot is very unique & original. In addition, I like how it stayed the course/didn’t go out of its way to be something it wasn’t.
- Not a whole lot of dialogue is said, but I didn’t mind it, for the most part.
- There’s a particular part towards the end that looked like something out of some Greek mythology, and without giving it away, I wished they would’ve expanded on it a bit more.
Overall, it’s a very artistic movie, not a lot of people will necessarily get it, but for me, I enjoyed it.
