βLife on the Farm: An a24 Storyβ π
On a quick note, I never thought Iβd see how sheep give birth, let alone in a movie, but thatβs burned into my brain now.
So, Letβs Unpack Hereβ¦
- The first thing I said to my friend, when the movie was over was, βWhat the hell was that? I kinda liked it.β
Thatβs a24 for ya π, also the only reason why I wanted to see it.
- Very early on, it lost me, then as it progressed, I was invested into it. Mostly itβs because it comes off as such a weird movie, but the story & plot is very unique & original. In addition, I like how it stayed the course/didnβt go out of its way to be something it wasnβt.
- Not a whole lot of dialogue is said, but I didnβt mind it, for the most part.
- Thereβs a particular part towards the end that looked like something out of some Greek mythology, and without giving it away, I wished they wouldβve expanded on it a bit more.
Overall, itβs a very artistic movie, not a lot of people will necessarily get it, but for me, I enjoyed it.
