Eli Brownstone’s review published on Letterboxd:
Ah fuck me. What the fuck was this? Everything. Fucking. Sucks. Completely ruined my day and yea.. it's awesome.
I definitely need to see this again and again to fully appreciate it. This film definitely isn't for everybody. At first I thought things were a little convenient and over the top. The way dialogue is written and how scenes are edited are a little jarring, but as soon you get used to it and fully immerse yourself into this world you'll come to see it really is done the correct way and it fits the narrative perfectly.
The attention to detail in the meticulously crafted little scenes and moments throughout the film, carefully thought out just to fuck this poor guy over.... It's completely mind boggling.
Charlie Kaufman is so talented and creative.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman? That man was in a league of his own. What an actor.
