Annihilation ★★★★★

Fifth viewing in under thirty hours: (amongst an array of other themes) a flawless allegorical tackling of the inexplicably self-destructive nature of cancer -- with the bold belief in some sort of existence beyond death; that said obliteration is, in fact, merely an alteration, that dying is a simple change, rather than a conclusion -- as well as the perseverance, and resilience that it takes to overcome such a relentless & incomprehensible disease. I miss you, Dad, but I can still feel your presence enveloping me everyday, in everything.
