This was the first time I'd seen this out of theatres, and it was a really different experience. Maybe it was because my brother kept pausing it to go get snacks, or because this time I already knew what was going to happen, but in the theatre I was more immersed in the film. That basically just means that the basement scenes felt shorter and scared the shit out of me less.
Despite that, it really held up as one of the most spectacular movies I've ever seen, in terms of cinematic quality and how much I enjoyed it.
Also, the Park's house is gorgeous, and I love the round little bushes in their yard.
