Finally got around to seeing this one! Kinda got lost on the metaphor but also who cares, I don't care. Feels like one of those movies they gotta invent new Oscars for, with all the performances and sort of masterclass display of doppelganger nightmare scenario etc. Definitely messy like a breakfast plate where everything tastes good and only michelin chefs + movie tim heidecker care about plate presentation. This isn't to say it doesn't have a good underbelly to its imagery but so much of this things works for me that I don't mind if it didn't fully connect first viewing.
