Re-Review Mondays #8
10/10 (An all time favourite)
I will never forget the first time I saw Before Midnight it wasn't my first Linklater film or even my first Before film but it absolutely blew my mind. The dialogue was so emotionally raw and effective that my eyes welled up with tears on several occasions. The film is a subtle rollercoaster of heartfelt emotion and beautiful dialogue with excellent delivery from Hawke and Delpy as their chemistry bounces off the screen in bittersweet fashion. I really can't but into words my thoughts on this movie as it means so much to me so I'll just keep this one shorter than most Re-Review Mondays and say that you should check it out as its one of the best movies ever made!
