  FYC & Q&A:

  Didn't realize it was based on a book nor an adaptation, so the whole thing was quite a ride. Particularly how it blends genres so that Cherry truly defies being pigeon-holed and it does so without hurting how engaged the audience remains. Part of this is due to Russo-Otstot's and Goldberg's screenplay, which it was great to hear during the Q&A how they worked in humor by way of how they thought Cherry saw the world, but also…
