    Loved the use of real footage, and the scenes that truly got at PTSD, anger, and hurt, which had their own kind of poetry only Spike knows how to do. What was particularly brilliant here, was how the film gave a voice to the African-American experience of Vietnam, and how their anger and hurt was not just directed at war, but at fighting for a country that didn’t (and still doesn’t) protect them.
