amy’s crazy enough, and i mean Crazy!!, that you almost want to admire her brilliance...but then, for me at least, you remember she’s an out of love, spoiled, bitter white girl who’s bored w her unemployed but more than comfortable life that uses her brilliance to cause an orchestrated crime, fueled by years of said boredom and bitterness, starring herself...and the tipping point for all of this is that she discovers her husband is cheating on her, as if that’s the most heinous and unusual crime plaguing women today (it’s not). i maintain that the drama is more important to amy than the justice—she’s not brave enough to seek real justice. so yeah, ask me again why i sympathize with nick. dumb, stupid nick.
