Among the many things I thought were great, I like how this film very smartly showcases the ugly truth that we’re afraid to admit. All people, to some extent, are willing to excuse some layer of cruelty if it benefits us, it just depends on where exactly we cross that line.

cute and i liked the cinematography :) there was some great lines/performance moments, but most of it was a pretty simple rom com with predictable beats that leaned heavily on a unique setting to make it interesting. but i enjoyed it still!

Stunning animation and the coolest character and world design. I think there was lost opportunity to more effectively explore themes that were presented and the last act felt too safe and cliche. I did sort of half watch it, admittedly.
