A rewatch for Julia Stiles since Hustlers reminded me how much I love her! Do you think she showed them her table dance scene and was like, “WHY am I not one of the strippers tho???”
Still a gem, and amazingly woke for the 90s. There are rough spots - some of the motivations are all over the place and the Bianca/Cameron thing is a mess (this is most definitely a movie that helped normalize for guys the notion that it’s ok to chase or hunt girls).
But for the most part, it holds up! I also just remembered I saw this on my first ever date lol yikes. HEATH baby you can cheesy sing to me from the bleachers anytime you want, the cheesier the better please stop being dead. 😭
