Emma Grace’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is some of the most frightening stuff I've seen in a while. No, it's not the exorcist and I wish critics would stop comparing every good horror film to it.
The true genius of this film is the tension. The film slowly builds for the explosive finale. The way suspense and scares are created can only be done by a special kind of filmmaker. I hope Ari Aster has a long successful career.
I'm hesitantly saying this may be a masterpiece. My only issue is that I'm not in love with the ending but I'll just have to see how that ages with a re-watch.
