works way better on a rewatch. only real complaint i have is that the “cameos” are bad but even the ending i had a problem with works when you expect it. even more embracing of comic books than the first movie in a way no other movie has been. ultimately a movie about the struggle between individualism and being accepted. beautiful stuff. i started reading the spider-punk comics and he’s not as cool as he is in this movie.
