cant believe id never actually seen this in its entirety? just the dance numbers countless times (i did competitive tap dance (among other styles) for like 8 years so...)

debbie reynolds was such a delight !! a strong cast all around. i was constantly surprised by how witty the dialogue was, a lot of laugh out loud moments. a couple scenes dragged a bit too long, but it being a musical from the early 50s i dont mind letting that slide. the impact this movie has had on my life as a dancer, without even seeing it, is so profound and manifold. makes me nostalgic for all those 1920s inspired jazz routines of my childhood :')
