Probably only Edgar Wright could pull this off so well. A perfectly edited documentary that is original and witty from start to finish, in other words it's so Sparks. Two minor complaints: I wish their collaboration with Les Rita Mitsouko was covered as well (though there are photos during the end credits and Fred Chichin is mentioned in the 'in memory of' list) and I wonder why Martin Gore wasn't interviewed. His 1989 cover of Never Turn Your Back on Mother Earth is perfect and introduced many "devotee"s (including me) to Sparks' music. Still, this is hands down one of the best films of 2021 already.
