Sure Araki wears his influences on his sleeve but there's really no other director like him. His films feel so unique and seem to exist in their own universe. An eccentric and bizarre universe but it's all tremendous to witness.
This film should come with a health warning, it will put you in a state of depression and will probably make you want to kill yourself but it's a masterpiece and must be seen.
