I haven't seen Strange Way of Life or Infinity Pool yet, so this is the best Almodovar and Cronenberg movie I've seen so far this year. It's a Haynes so it's a better comedy than drama by miles. Towards the end I would've hoped for more of what Mysterious Skin was able to do, but that wouldn't be cynical enough for the movie being reviewed.
Giving Natalie another Oscar for this would be as cool as making Frank or Francis and giving Charlie another Oscar for it. It would be an awesomely freakish decision.
Enjoyed a lot, would rewatch.
