  so different on a rewatch; still so good. I find it to be incredibly funny but hard to laugh — instead I'm in awe of the production, shocked by the gore, editing, pacing, acting, lines, etc. I'm shocked and impressed and tickled. everything is so relentless, so inpatient and restless. there just ain't nothing like it.

  saw this at sick outdoor screening during the full moon. corny and anti-capitalist in the best ways. the wrestling scenes are a treat.

  Ain't worthy of the word "hillbilly. " Boring, offensive, poor editing and directing choices. Dry and uninteresting, like Vance himself. There was no reason for this to be made.
